The lady in the coffee shop?

I was in a coffee shop yesterday in Ras Al Khaima when I noticed that most of the staff waiters are beautiful ladies (I would rather call them chicks). One of them came to my table to write down my order. The way she came, the way she talked to me, and the way she looked at me can kill a desperate a man in a desert! I should say that her “flirty way” in doing things penetrates the heart. My fellow made a funny comment on her unusual behavior saying: ”you occupied her”. I said: “no, she’s only doing business”.

All the times she came to the table I was speaking to her in English -my fellow being an English man- so I couldn’t tell about her nationality from her Arabic accent because she was replying to me in English. When she came again to serve me the coffee I asked her “what’s your nationality?” she smiled and -again- in a flirty way she replied “what do u think?”. I said “mmmm… Moroccan*?” She smiled and responded “I’m Syrian and you?” .. then it came up that she is half Syrian and half Lebanese.

I left the coffee shop and my mind was busy thinking “Oh dear, I’m a desperate man, and that girl even has some genes in common with me!” Just kidding ;)

To make a long story short, let me ask you: why do you think a coffee shop would hire beautiful and sexy Arab ladies to serve customers in a country like UAE? I know the answer, but I’d like to hear it from you.

* What’s significant about my reply -which made me by the way laugh at myself later- is that unfortunately the Moroccan ladies in UAE have got a bad reputation. I know that it’s unjust and can’t be applied on them all, but that’s the way people think about it. What made me laugh is that … come on, now you now the reason =)
