About Me

Aouni’at is a word derived from Aouni, my name. The reason why I replace “i” with “1″ is that aouniat.com is the address of my Arabic blog. I’m a 25-year old Lebanese guy, an English Literature grad. and a translator. I’m based in Sharjah, where I work as a translator for the Ministry of Interior. I arrived at the UAE in 2009.

I spend a lot of time on the internet, mainly reading and blogging, as well as maintaining two gardening websites- plantism.com being the English version.

I like all kinds of adventures, gardening, photography, swimming, fishing, web design, and I am good at ping pong & chess.
